Jam was an invention of using up excess, over rip fruit, so when your fruit is getting past it, don't throw it out, make it into delicious jam.  Its a brilliant, environmentally sound way to cut down on waste food as well as creating something delightful and personal.

This Tal Jam Making Set has everything you need to make homemade jam, just like your grandmothers! There’s a super Jam Thermometer marked in both Centigrade and Fahrenheit so that you know when the jam has reached setting point. It can even clip onto the edge of your pot or pan to make things easier!

Then you can use the Jelly Bag to strain your jam, so that you’re left with a beautiful clear jam, and the Jam Funnel to get the jam into the jar. The funnel even has a wide mouth for ease of funnelling, as well as a stay-cool handle which will allow you to keep the funnel steady.

Finally, it’s time to seal and label your jam. Place one of the Waxed Discs over the filling (this will help to keep the jam fresh for longer), then top the jar with a Cellophane Disk, and use an elastic band (also included!) to secure it. Finally, apply one of the decorative Jam Pot Covers and Labels and you’re done!
