Have had this product a couple of months now, great cutting edge on all blades, ergonomically tarific fit. Be warned these are very sharp. The design of the block is well thought out as you can see the blade, plus they hang in the block and don't rub on the blade.

A good knife set, however the block is not as useful or visually appealing as the Millennium or Synergy blocks.

Bought this knife set some 8 months ago. They are the most versatile knives that you will ever own. Stylish and functional to boot. The only thing to watch though is that you must dry them up after hand washing them otherwise they may stain. They won't stain every time but they will stain at least once. I can't get the rust stains off. Only minor spots though. Overall an excellent product. Looks great on the bench and makes you feel like a pro. Buy the pull through sharpener too as it is a must. Don't dare try to sharpen them with a steel.
Everten were brilliant in customer support and quick delivery. Will definitely shop with them again.

Excellent knives - I farewelled one set of Globals following a seperation and just had to replace them... a symbolic cutting of ties!!
Makes chopping and slicing a million times easier. Pumpkin is back on the shopping list!

We did much research on knives before purchasing the Global knife set and are very happy with our decision. Never thought we would use all the knives but we do regularly. Easy to wash and comfortable to use. Also agonised over the knife block and really love the see through bamboo block as we can easy select the correct knife. Looks great on our bench.

I'm only just getting into cooking and have been recommended Japanese knives. These knives are great! They are sharp out of the box (although I used the 3 stage ceramic sharpener to sharpen them up even more), ergonomic, balanced and light in feel. Picking up a knife gives me the feeling of picking up a well balanced samurai sword. I have been particular with these when cleaning, drying them immediately and placing them in the block so no stains have occurred. I will not hesitate to recommend Global to anyone! Everten have helped me make this awesome purchase. Thanks

I'm a chef by trade, and use these knives both at work and home. Excellent quality without breaking the budget and easy to maintain the edge with a few hits on a steel (or run through the water sharpener, if you dont know how to use a steel properly)

I LOVE these knives. This set has all the everyday essentials. The blades are as sharp as they were 6 months ago. The handles are comfortable and very user friendly. These knives will make the most ameteur of cooks feel like a master chef. Why did l put up with my old knives for so long??!
