As far a waiter's friends go, this one works just as well as any other of the low to medium priced cork screws. The screw is sharp and pierces the cork without too much force and the lever action is strong and stable. The foil cutter works as it should, but a few extra turns were necessary to cut through the foil than usual. The construction seems strong and it does the required job well.
